When American Fairy Tale’s animated feature film American Fairytale will come out is a question that still needs to be answered, especially for its creator, Alan Ball.
In the meantime, we’ve learned that Ball is currently working on a new film based on a comic book that he co-created in the 1980s called “The American Fairy” series.
In his new book American Fairy, Ball reveals that he originally intended to make the film based upon the comic book in 1986, but the idea was abandoned.
Ball says that the idea for the animated feature was conceived at a cocktail party in 1982, and that it was one of his favorite movies of all time.
The film will feature a cast of more than 50 actors, including Jennifer Aniston, Kate Winslet, and Will Ferrell, as well as a host of familiar faces, such as Bill Murray, Tom Hanks, Chris Hemsworth, and Bradley Cooper.
American Fairy will also be the first animated feature to be directed by Alan Ball, as he penned the screenplay with his wife, Margaret.
