Disney’s latest fairy tale adventure film Cinderella and her wacky, jolly, and sometimes-villainous friends, the Wardrobes, will soon hit theaters in the U.S. and Canada.
The Disney film stars Anna Kendrick, Sofia Vergara, Emma Stone, Bill Hader, and Cate Blanchett as Cinderella and various other characters in her own story.
The story begins in 1742 when a woman named Aladdin visits the fairytale land of Ooo in search of his missing sister.
Cinderella is born and, in order to be adopted by her adoptive father, Prince Charming, he has to wear a disguise, a wig, and a cloak that makes him look like the Wicked Witch of the West.
The Wardrobe is set in 1834, when Aladdin and his family move to the land of Beauty and the Beast.
After Aladdin’s aunt and uncle get kidnapped by a villainous band of witch-hunters, they are pursued by the evil queen, Jasmine.
Cinderella and friends must fight their way out of the evil kingdom and back to the royal palace.
The film’s cast includes Anna Kendrick and Sofia Versgara as Cinderella, Emma Watson as Aladdin, Bill Pullman as a young prince named Tiana, and Jaimie Alexander as the Witch of Tybalt.
The film will be released in the United States on March 25, 2019.
The Walt Disney Co. has set an October 3, 2019, release date for the film in the Americas and Canada for a theatrical release.
